ORFF
Orff was invented by Carl Orff, a German composer. Orff is a methodology in music education using mostly percussion instruments. Orff at Oak Ridge Intermediate is for 6th grade and by audition only.
The Oak Ridge Orff Ensemble performed at the Missouri State Music Educators conference twice. It has a strong tradition of excellence and tradition.
Students interested in joining Orff will be required to audition at the beginning of each school year. Traditionally, the group rehearses before school at 7:30 AM on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
