Ms. Christine Head

Hi.....My name is Ms. Head.  I teach the PLTW courses at Oak Ridge Intermediate.  The 2023-2024 school year will be my 20th year teaching and my 19th year teaching at Camdenton.   This will be my 5th year teaching PLTW classes at Oak Ridge.  During my first 15 years of teaching, I taught high school mathematics.

I graduated from the University of Missouri - Columbia with a Bachelors of Science in Secondary Mathematics in 2004.  I later completed a Masters in Education through Southwest Baptist University in 2011.  Most recently, I completed a Specialist in Education degree from Northwest Missouri State University in 2023.

The PLTW classes are part of the encore rotation for all students at Oak Ridge.  On the encore rotation, students will rotate thru PLTW, STEM, PE, Art, and Music classes.  Students will have each class for approx. 3 weeks during the 1st semester and again for approx. 3 weeks during the 2nd semester.
